How Emo broke himself: After overexerting himself cross-training at Magnuson Park, Emo needed a new leg. He limped around for two months and looked really sad. I took him to the vet and they said that Emo would need a TPO surgery. Basically a doggy ACL. I have been trying to raise money for Emo's leg surgery. The surgery is around $3000 (not including check up visits and other costs), and as you all know my meager wages from the City of Redmond won't help cover a new ligament for Emo. |

Art show/benefit: If you would like to help save Emo, by helping with some of the billz associated with his surgery, you can buy a t-shirt, a tote bag or a print! I am also planning a a benefit and an art show for November that you can come too as well. The art show will consist of silkscreened prints of emo. I will be selling above mentioned merch in 2 designs, one says "i love emo, i helped this dog walk again" and the other one says "i saved emo." |

Emo had his surgery on september 12 2006. He came home the next day with a cone around his neck and his left leg shaved. He is in good spirits. When he gets better (in six weeks, in early November), I will have meet and greet for him). |
